THE SWALCLIFFE SOCIETY
The
Society’s aims include increasing the awareness of the village’s
history, by preserving and cataloguing the past and recording the present
for future generations. We voluntarily man Swalcliffe Barn on Sundays
in the season and manage Swalcliffe's Fuel Allotment. We also undertake
and support special projects which either add to our knowledge of the
village or enhance its features. We run a meeting schedule of approx 6
meetings per year dedicated to local and/or relevant subjects.
